Mental Health Crisis Services
The Kern County Mental Health Hotline (KCMHH) 800-991-5272 is available 24/7 to provide crisis counseling, suicide intervention, coping skills guidance, and referrals for persons who call and are in immediate crisis situations. Assistance is given to any individual who calls and there are no eligibility requirements.

Mental Health Family Advocacy
If a member of your family, significant other or close friend is suffering from mental illness, the Family Advocate is a trained professional who can help you navigate the mental health system. Services include helping families to locate services and communicate with service providers, assisting the family with complaints and concerns regarding mental health services, and educating family members about treatment options.
