Serving Kern County and the 4th District is truly an honor. My goal is to continually improve the quality of life for all of Kern County and provide responsive service to the residents of the 4th District. |

The 4th District is a study in diversity and contrast. From our economic mainstays of agriculture and oil, to the excellent mountain communities, to modern residential neighborhoods, to the heart of higher education for Kern County, California State University Bakersfield, the 4th District has many great qualities that need to be nurtured and promoted. |

Of all the great attributes the 4th District has to offer, best of all is its people. Traveling around to every community, I am so impressed by the quality of people I've met. The generosity of time, intelligence on issues, and genuine caring about the community inspire me even more to do a good job. I pledge to serve each and every one to the best of my abilities. |

Kern County is growing fast and faces many exciting challenges and opportunities. I have promised to focus on several important concerns - transportation, air quality, and jobs, while not ignoring many of the other critical issues. I hope to use my financial and business experience to foster government efficiency and ensure you receive quality and responsive services for your tax dollars. |
