Youth Enhancement Services (YES)
The Youth Enhancement Services Program (Y.E.S.) is designed to provide young adults with the knowledge, skills and support they need to become successful independent adults. To be eligible for YES you must be:
- A pregnant and/or parenting teen
- 18 to 21 years old
- Eligible for CalWORKs
- Living with and Maintaining the care and custody of your child
Requirements
- Participate 32/35 hours per week in an approved activity
- Contact the Employment Services Social Worker at least once a month
- Participate as required by Welfare-to-Work rules and regulations
Benefits
- Human Services Technicians and Social Workers work closely with one another to assist the members of YES

The YES members:
- Obtain a high school diploma or GED
- Complete vocational training
- Obtain employment
- Earn above minimum wage
- Become self-sufficient and independent of CalWORKs
