Kern Government Television (KGOV-TV) is a local cable television station owned and operated by the County of Kern that broadcasts important government-related information, including:
- Announcements of County department events
- Election results; these are broadcast real-time as soon as the election has ended
- Kern County Board of Supervisors meetings. These are broadcast live during the Tuesday meeting sessions at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m and re-broadcast multiple times later in the week.
Agenda, Minutes, and Video (opens new window)
- Kern County Planning Commission meetings. These are broadcast live the second and fourth Thursdays of each month at 7 p.m. and re-broadcast periodically.
