Comprised of carpenters, electricians, air conditioning mechanics, painters and general maintenance workers; the Facilities Maintenance staff is dedicated to providing prompt, high quality service in over 300 facilities throughout Kern County.

It is the goal of this division to maintain all facilities with the care and attention we would give our own homes. We strive to anticipate needs, provide effective solutions, stay communicative, and perform maintenance work in a timely manner.

In our continuing effort for efficiency, an online work order system enables all departments to request maintenance services from the convenience of their own office. A Supervisor will assign your request to maintenance staff within 24-hours.

Facilities Maintenance staff are qualified team players making every effort to repair, repaint, rebuild, remove & remodel whatever it takes to help your staff serve the citizens of Kern County.
