Annual Founder's Day Banquet
Saturday, February 7th from 6 pm - 9 pm at Hodel's Country Dining, 5917 Knudsen Drive, Bakersfield, CA 93308. Cost of the event is $30.00 per person. This is an annual fundraiser for the Minter Field Air Museum. At this year's banquet we will salute the "Unsung Heroes" of Kern County that made a difference in World War II - specifically the ladies who went into the factories, became WASPs, WAACS, SPARS, or did many other things to help the war effort. There will be a short presentation by Elli Cunanan, a 2014 winner at the local High School History Day competition, which you won't want to miss. Our special guest speaker is the California Secretary of Veteran's Affairs, who will have a great message to share with those in attendance.
